Residents Build Rain Gardens to Protect the Maurice River

Program offers grants and training to homeowners who install rain gardens.

More than 20 homeowners participated in the South Jersey Landscape Makeover Program, a unique program providing homeowners, municipalities, and farmers with expert advice to create rain gardens and other “green infrastructure” projects that capture polluted stormwater and prevent it from entering our lakes, rivers, and bays.
